Cats Protection Looking for Volunteers

Cats Protection has been helping rescue and rehome cats since 1927. Now they’re looking for your help! They are planning a new branch in Coleraine and are seeking out new volunteers to get it running.

This new branch will help fill the need for an adoption agency in the Coleraine area, providing essential cat welfare services for the entire surrounding area. Cats Protection will hold a recruitment event on Monday, 22 November. It will be held at the Sandel Center on Knocklynn Road at 7 PM. Volunteering with Cats Protection is a fun and rewarding experience. You will be able to spend time with other cat fanciers while helping save many lives. Cats Protection tries its best to match volunteers’ skills and time availability with the positions that need to be filled. They are looking for a coordinator to oversee the new branch, plus a secretary, treasurer and several fundraisers. You don’t need any previous experience, only a love of cats and willingness to help. Cats Protection will provide training and support.

Cats Protection provides care for more than 215,000 cats each year at numerous volunteer-run branches throughout the UK, just like the one being planned in Coleraine.
