Christmas Fairs Next Weekend to Benefit Charity
Christmas Fairs Next Weekend to Benefit Charity

Santa is making his list and checking it twice, but have you done your Christmas shopping yet? Would you like to buy some gifts while also helping some worthy charities? Next weekend there are several Christmas Fairs that will raise money for local animal charities.

The Hooves & Paws Christmas Market is being held on both days, 27-28 November in Cambridgeshire. Admission is free and parking is only £2. You’ll find not only a wide variety of pet and equine gifts and supplies but also gifts for everyone on your list.

There will be wine tastings on both days from The Lovely Wine Company. Pick up some treats from Bone-Appetite’s pet bakery stall. Soverign Quarter Horses will have a booth selling gift vouchers for western riding lessons. Kara Glass Engraving will be on hand offering their beautiful custom engraved glassware. Or pick up some unusual eco-friendly Christmas decorations made of straw.

Check out Hooves & Paws Christmas Market website to find out more information. You can also register to win a £50 gift voucher to use at the show! www.hoovesandpawsmarket.co.uk

If you live near Cheshire, plan to attend the Christmas fair on Saturday 27th November to benefit the Greyhound Rescue West of England. Father Christmas will be taking a break from making toys and will be there with a special sleigh pulled by eight greyhounds! Dogs are welcome and there will be a dog costume contest with great prizes. There are dozens of vendors confirmed as well as refreshment stands. Admission is free and there will be entertainment provided throughout the day.

On Sunday the 28th, GRWE is also having a Christmas Spectacular in Somerset. Santa will be in attendance here, too but he’s bringing his reindeer to this event. There will be ice skating and fair rides, free entertainment all day long, cheese and grain markets, several Christmas craft stalls and fireworks to close out the evening.

Check out GRWE’s website and click on their Events Diary link for more details on both of these events: www.grwe.com.

If you can’t attend the fairs, don’t worry! We have plenty of holiday themed pet gifts in stock. One of our cutest Christmas dog toys is the Xmas Jolly Doggy Dylan Dog toy. Xmas Jolly Doggy Dylan Dog’s fur is so soft, and he’s decked out in a cute Santa hat. Your dog will love finding this dog toy under the tree on Christmas morning!
