Cosequin for cats
Cosequin comes in several forms covering the needs of cats, small dogs, and large dogs.

Administration:
Initial loading programme (4-6 weeks)
cats under 5kg half a capusle daily, cats over 5kg 1 capsule daily.
Maintenance Programme
Cats under 5kg half a capsule daily, cats over 5kg half a capsule daily.
Do not alter dosage more than once a month. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the entire amount is taken.
Also, an ingredient such as glucosamine may have the same name from product to product, but it may not have been produced by the same processes and standards that the glucosamine in cosequin is, and, may consequently not be as effective, an important reason to purchase a proven product that is produced under the highest standards and that has been shown to be highly effective. Also, the ingredients in Cosequin are designed to offer relief by actually improving the health of the cartilage matrix, whereas, some pain products, including steroids and NSAIDs, can actually damage it.
